I am also Board Certified in TeleMental Health. In addition, I have earned certification as a Master Addiction Counselor.

Prior to earning my independent license as a Professional Counselor in 2006, I worked at residential facilities for children and adolescents, on adult inpatient psychiatric units, and in emergency rooms providing mental health assessments. After becoming fully/independently licensed in 2006, I continued to work on the psychiatric units and emergency rooms, and I continued doing so while I built up my own private counseling practice, starting in 2008. I have been in full-time private practice since 2012.

I operate an online counseling practice, working with adults and adolescents. II work with clients ages 12 and older who are dealing with a wide array of issues. I particularly enjoy working with clients dealing with depression, anxiety, stress, anger, adjustment issues and trauma, helping survivors of trauma to heal and to flourish. I am holistic and eclectic in my approach, incorporating thinking and techniques from diverse schools of psychotherapy. I choose interventions and techniques that are best suited to the needs of the client and that encompass care of the body, mind, and spirit. While I do not impose my beliefs on clients, I am a Christian and willingly deal with spiritual matters that clients may bring to counseling.
