Hope Professional Counseling Services
Fees and Insurance
The fee for the initial session is $180.00 Subsequent sessions are 45 or 55 minutes in length. The self-pay fee for a 45-minute session is $130.00 and the fee for a 55-minute session is $150.00. I offer a sliding scale for those in need.
I am an in-network provider for most insurance companies and Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs). When utilizing insurance, copays and coinsurance are not non-negotiable. Please understand that when you use insurance to help pay for counseling services, the insurance company requires that I give you a diagnosis. Having some mental health diagnoses may interfere with you being able to obtain some types of insurance, such as health, disability or life insurance. This is the reason that some people choose to self-pay for services, and that I offer a sliding-scale for those who need it.
Most major insurance companies and most EAPs are covering video conferencing sessions the same as they would cover in-office visits. If want to use insurance or EAP, I will be happy to call and find out if you have benefits for video conferencing.
Payment is required at the beginning of each session via credit card. Alternatively, you may pre-pay for visits by mailing a check or money order.
