My telemental health practice utilizes video conferencing so that you and I can communicate. This is similar to 

Skype,only I use a HIPAA-compliant platform called "Adaptive Telehealth" to deliver services. This platform has been

 encrypted to federal standards for privacy and security. You are able to communicate with me via secure email on the

 Adaptive Telehealth platform as well. Also for your security, I ask that you show me your picture identification at the beginning of each session, and that you give me the password that you will create during your first session.

You can use your desktop computer, laptop computer, iPad or iPhone for video conferences. It works best if you utilize 

Google Chrome, and you will need to download Zoom on the device you will be using.
